Every year I apply for London marathon ballot place but unfortunately i was unlucky again and I got the ‘NO’ booklet but my heart is still set on raising money for a worthy cause and of cause run the London marathon so I chose to run the marathon for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital (RMCH) as they work tirelessly to provide excellent treatment and support for children, young people and their families.
Royal Manchester Childrens hospital is a charity that helps 276,000 patients, and their families each year.
I choose this charity as it means so much to me as a nurse / specialist health practitioner as I come across a lot of children suffering from illnesses and like to support this amazing hospital where children are getting the best treatment possible.
Most importantly I’m doing this for my lovely friends Mark and Ness’s beautiful little boy Jacob who was 3yrs of age 💚 was battling cancer and he was getting excellent treatment there but the cruel disease had taken over and he sadly passed away on 25.11.19. Jacob is not only a super hero but also a brave warrior! He has touched so many hearts💚!
However, during his treatments at RMCH he had received the best care and support for him and his family.
RMCH is there to support children like Jacob and tfamilies every step of the way, and it is our duty to support such facilities so that our children can have the best treatment and care and best the chance of survival!
Please help me reach my target for this amazing cause. 💚💚💚 #jacobjoin #rmchcharity
