We will be joining this year's walk for wards for Salisbury Hospital's Stars Appeal after all the incredible care our little Taylor has received there over the last 6 months. 

When he was just 2 weeks old we arrived on the Sarum children's ward after taking him to A and E and it was very soon apparent our little man was seriously unwell. The doctors and nurses that attended to him that night undoubtedly saved his life, managing to get our poorly boy stable enough to be transferred to Southampton where he could receive the specialist care he needed at the children's cardiac centre after he was diagnosed with multiple congenital heart defects requiring immediate surgery.

Taylor also ended up being admitted to the Sarum Ward multiple times over the winter with various winter respiratory illnesses and after problems with his ongoing medications. Each time we were looked after with such care, and benefited greatly from things the Stars charity provides, like the parents beds meaning I could stay with  him all the time. 

Anything you can spare will be so greatly appreciated, and will go towards helping other parents and children who find themselves in the same position we did.
