What are we doing?

A self funded organised charity Banger Rally.  It’s called Benidorm or Bust. Basically we buy an old banger (completely road legal, rally insurance, MOT, tax etc) then drive from Blackpool to Benidorm in 4 days completing challenges along the way.  We will be partaking in the optional “pick a theme”, revamp the car and dress up.

Who are we fundraising for?

Ronald McDonald House Charities keeps families together so children in hospital can get the love and comfort they need. It is an independent charity that relies on donations / fundraising. They look after families while they’re supporting a seriously ill child in hospital. A close supportive family helps children feel safe in unfamiliar surroundings.  The accommodation they provide is free of charge and a stone’s throw from the children’s ward. Families can stay for as long as they need to - whether it’s for two nights or two years.

 

There are currently 15 Ronald McDonald Houses and over 25 sets of Family Rooms across the UK. Together, they provide more than 450 rooms for families each night of the year.
