My nephew Patrick was born with Down Syndrome. He had a life threatening heart condition and had to have open heart surgery when he was 5 months old. Our family are very grateful to the British Heart Foundation for the support they showed my sister, her husband and Patrick in the months after the operation! He is now 7 years old and living life to the full!!!!
