Brain Tumour Research is the leading voice of the brain tumour community and focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. We are campaigning to increase the national investment in research to £35 million per year and funding sustainable Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Story

I am excited, honoured, and probably a little bit crazy to be running the London Marathon in April 2023 with my amazing friend Jess. I'm raising money for the Brain Tumour Research charity in memory of a close family friend, mentor, and absolute hero, Alison, (also a runner!) who we sadly lost to a brain tumour in 2022 and who is missed so deeply.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Your donations and support are hugely appreciated

Although I'm nervous about the steep challenge ahead, from training to raising the pledged funds, I'm beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to support this important charity, while also remembering and honouring an amazing woman who had such a positive impact on so many of us.

Sending love x
