I am sure we have all at some time been affected or devastated by news of a loved one having cancer. My sister saw it as a challenge and faced it with such determimation and courage, and has made us all so proud of her.When I saw the advert for the challenge to walk 24 miles it seemed so obvioius that I should give it a go and help others.

On 17th January Andrea & I held a "Soup & Pud" lunch at Bedworth Almshouses. We had wonderful support, we catered for 45 people the atmosphere was great and we raised £230! We were shattered at the end of the day but very happy indeed.Our next event is in Febuary when we hold a cheese & wine evening.Thanks to you all for your donations.

Hi folks, an update for our target! Our cheese & wine evening was great, lots of friends altogether and we raised £135. A big thank you to everyone. Our next event is Tuesday 13th March when we are hosting a "Bumper Coffee Morning" at Bedworth Almshouses from 10am-1pm.We have  tombola with a twist, prize every time. homemade cards, raffle supported by local shops. We will also be serving our famous bacon butties & ploughmans lunch`s, everyone welcome!

Hi folks! Wow What a busy week and one to remember.We had a very early start on the 13th, weather was kind so we set up the tombola table outside. We thought this would entice the public in and it did!Everyone seem to come from everywhere and we all had a wonderful time. Atmosphere was lovely, people meeting old friends and making new ones. Many thanks to all who helped out on the various stalls and a big thank you to Jean and Carol who sold their homemade cards and donated the generous result.We have realised the grand total of £515.38! Thank you is only 2 words but it means so very much, once again Thanks to al concerned.
