Story
Thank you for taking your time to visit our Just Giving page.
Myself and my sisters are raising money to support the Isabel Hospice. We have chosen this charity after they supported with the care of our grandma. In early 2022, our grandma was diagnosed with cancer, and was supported by the Isabel Hospice team. During our visits to the hospice, we were treated with kindness and respect, and offered support at all stages of grandma’s care. They made it much easier to cope at a time of distress and supported grandma with all her needs. We always felt she was well looked after and cared for by the team. They got to know her in her time there and looked after her brilliantly.
In order to raise money, we are taking part in the 5k Muddy Mayhem 2023 race on Sunday 26th March 2023. There we will help to celebrate the Isabel Hospice’s 40th year of hospice care by clambering, climbing, scrambling and crawling through their fun-filled obstacle course. If you can support in any way, that would be highly appreciated, and will help others in need, just as the charity supported us.
Thank you for your support!

Isabel Hospice provides palliative support to the 370,000 people who live in eastern Hertfordshire.
Hospice care is about helping people to live well for as long as possible and have a good death in the place of their choice when the time comes. Without your help, we could not make this possible for our patients and their families. Each year we care for approx 2,000 people but we know there are even more people that need our help.
