Story

Hi everyone.

I’ve decided to complete a steps challenge for the people of Afghanistan over the next 30 days to raise funds in support of them in these unimaginably difficult times.

I will be walking the distance from the capital of Pakistan - Islamabad to the capital of our neighbouring country Afghanistan - Kabul. The distance is roughly 445 Kilometres which is 584,000 steps. This works out as roughly 20,000 steps a day. I will be posting my final step count every evening as proof for everyone to see.

Please support me however you can and give with an open heart. Insha’Allah (God willing) we can make a difference no matter how big or small.

Afghanistan has been ravaged by conflict for decades. Political insecurity and a third wave of Covid-19 has left millions of people in need of urgent humanitarian assistance. The entire country is now facing moderate to severe drought. Experts say it is one of the worst droughts in decades in terms of geographic scale. 14 million people in Afghanistan are facing a food crisis. Your donations are desperately needed to help save lives in Afghanistan, please donate now.£50 can provide hygiene and water storage kits for a displaced family in Afghanistan £80 can provide essential non-food items to a displaced family in Afghanistan £100 can provide a food pack for a displaced family in Afghanistan for a month £550 can provide a displaced family with emergency shelter in Afghanistan
