Story
When a person dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three: A continuous charity, knowledge that others benefited from, and a pious son who (continues to) pray for him
(Sahih Muslim)
I would like to start by thanking you for your generous donation towards Sadaqah Jaariah for my beloved grandparents, Haji Jahan Dhad, Haji Muhammad Akbar, Asghar Bibi & Fazal Noor.
I pray that the donations we make today will set precedent for when our time comes to return our Lord.
February is a special month. I was born in February, got married in February, purchased my first home in February but February also brings me much grief. I lost my grandparents within close proximity of each other in this month.
Rather than passively recollecting happy memories, this year with your help I would like to actively raise money to benefit them in the Akhira. Something I hope our children will do for us.
I feel like doing this not only helps us remember our lost ones who undoubtedly did so much for us, but it also reminds us of our real purpose in this life. A collection of good deeds is the only thing we will take with us.
The funds raised will go directly into KORT account as Sadaqah Jariah for my my late grandparents, late uncle (Khadam Hussain) as well as Sadaqah for myself, family and all those contributing through sharing and donating .
KORT has an amazing story to share. Almost a miracle founded by one amazing man with a dream. Please visit their website if you would like to acquaint yourself with this charity. https://www.kort.org.uk
May Allah swt accept all your donations of Sadaqah and give you barakah in everything you do. Ameen.
