As you may know, I'm off to India for 7 weeks on an Expedition in February, as part of the programme I need to fundraise £2,250.00 

On expedition in India, I will be working on sustainable community and environmental projects. This could include:  installing a water system into a village which has never had running water; working on a rain-water harvesting system or sanitation project; or involvement with building projects, such as the construction of schools, libraries or medical centres.

This fundraising target is the minimum donation required for me to participate in an Overseas Programme, but is not linked directly to the costs of my participation. Every penny you donate goes straight to Raleigh and contributes to the costs of the Raleigh organisation including their work with socially excluded and ‘at risk’ young people. For those who know me really  well, this will be a BIG challenge as I will not be able to use my HAIR DRYER or STRIGHTNER. Can you just imagine me in the heat with my hair in an afro!
