Delivering food to the most vunerable, during the Coronavirus crisis , 25 March 2020
We collect surplus food and redistribute it to those in need in our local communities

Story

Our co-founder Robert recently volunteered for a South London based charity, Compliments of the House. Robert spent one evening delivering fresh food from Sainsbury's, to a hostel that had 80 vulnerable guests - just think, if we could either give time or money, imagine how many more people can have access to fresh food during the Coronavirus crisis.

Seeing the work of the organisation first hand, we wanted to do more by reaching out to our football community to raise additional funds for Compliments of the House. Your money will go towards getting fresh food to those who need it most.

We appreciate this is a difficult time. If you're unable to give, please contact Compliments of the House to find out how you can help. Volunteer opportunities might be available or you may be able to provide food directly by emailing team@complimentsofthehouse.org

About the charity

Our small, unfunded, grassroots charity collects surplus food to reduce food waste whilst feeding our guests for FREE. We welcome anyone who is need of a meal or support. We are currently partnered with 30 local businesses, and run a Back to Work scheme that supports our guests back into employment.
