Story
Both Hazel and I have been privileged to visit Nepal with C.I.T.C twice and have seen first hand the hard work and dedication of this fantastic charity.
From building schools, training teachers , health care, promoting gender equality and empowering women .Everything is done to the highest standard with special focus on local community involvement.
On a personal level , I need to run, ....I run for the benefit of my head and my heart. Being unsociable , running allows me to combine" road therapy " and Fund raising through sponsorship.
The last 12 months have been hard , All my fund raising races have been cancelled due to Covid and with the shops being forced to close in the the 3 lock downs the chance to sell charity supporting books and dvds has been limited , even when the shops were actually open , people on the street were limited and everyone has been effected through the pandemic, both with general well being and financial hardship.
Charity in general has become another victim of the virus
....and so folks Feverest has come around again , to be honest I have struggled with the motivation to get up early and run the last few months , but here we are again and if one single charity deserves our support it is this one ...SO LET'S DO THIS
