Sam is an amazing little boy who lives with multiple disabilities including life limiting epilepsy. As a result of his brain not forming correctly during pregnancy, Sam suffers from multiple daily seizures alongside a host of other disabilities including scoliosis, uncontrolled abnormal movements, severe visual impairment and global developmental delay. Despite all he deals with, Sam is a wonderfully happy child who loves nothing more than spending time with his friends and family. He is the centre of our world and the most wonderful child anyone could ever wish for.

Sam idolises his Dad. Just like any other little boy, Sam sees his Daddy as his hero - the strong, safe, reassuring pair of arms that hold him through countless seizures, and gently remind him that he is safe and that it will pass. The last time Jono was without a beard was when Sam was very little, so to agree to shave it off is quite something! Anyone who knows Jono will know of his (legendary) reluctance to get his hair cut...  his hair now reaches past his shoulder blades - so this will also be going to help get to the total goal! Not sure quite what Sam will make of having a clean-shaven Dad...?!
