Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page - the place to pledge your support as I seek to raise £500 (or more) for the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF).

UPDATE: I completed the run in 2 hours, 3 minutes and 53 seconds. Really enjoyed the day, the crowds were fantastic with their suppport. I slowed in the last 6km and probably lost 10 minutes of time, but hey, there is always next year!

"We are The Soldiers’ Charity. We’re here to support the men and women who put everything on the line to defend us, and our country."

I served in the Royal Engineers (42 Engr Regt) in the role of ME Geographic Technician (Data), between 2000 and 2005. In that time I completed two operational tours in Iraq.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

£500 is a modest total to raise but with your help we can smash through that ceiling. So please dig deep and donate now.

And wish me luck!!!
