Well.....trust me...I went for a well man check to see if eating a diet of cheese and peanuts ..plus wine...had affected my cholestorol levels..and my liver/kidney function! I was shocked to find they were all perfect, but before I could go home and celebrate with more cheese and wine I was told my PSa level was a bit high...and it could be related to prostate Cancer. Two weeks later I was having biopsies and then two weeks after that was told I did have cancer!!! So the battle begins.....two weeks later my Mum died...just so the challenge could be even tougher!

So the aim is that by Xmas I am told they have removed the cancer and that I am down for blood tests for a couple of years to make sure its all gone..... So I thought it would be good if I could at least raise a little for the next generation who will no doubt in part get caught by this type of cancer....as if caught early it can be "cured"......
