Story

This year I am pleased to say that now this event is open to men I am joined by Al 😀

Together we will try and raise as much as we can for such a deserving cause. Many of you have heard of St Luke's and the wonderful way they care for local people in their time of need. They are not funded by the government and rely soley on fundraising. This is such a wonderful event that shows comrade and spirit...as is shown by the staff and helpers at Winsford. So please we are asking for your help, no matter how big or small your contributions they will be more than welcome.

Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing palliative care to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Last year we supported over 1,000 local people with a huge range of support from end of life care on our ward to supporting carers, and from helping children cope with grief to helping patients return to work after an illness. We are a charity and provide all our care for free, so we rely on the generosity and commitment of our supporters to raise more than 80% of our costs.
