Story

I am doing the Captain Tom 100 challenge to raise money for Bolton NHS Trust Charity. The charity provide much needed extras to support our patients and enhance the wellbeing of staff.

Now those who know me, know I am not a baker but I am giving this a go because the

Covid-19 pandemic has had a catastrophic effect on charities, with the cancellation of thousands of events and the loss of billions in income. At a time when vulnerable members of society need them most, charities have had to cut services, furlough staff and some have even shut down. Captain Tom stepped up to help, taking on his famous walk to support the NHS Covid-19 appeal and inspiring millions to donate to the cause. I will be celebrating the extraordinary spirit of Captain Tom my way and help Bolton Hospital charity.

My plan is to bake (yes you heard that right) bake 100
Cakes or scones to take in for staff.

If you could sponsor me I would be very grateful.

Thanks so much xxx
