Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I've signed up to the 2012km Gold Challenge to fundraise for Cancer Research UK.
I have run 2012 km in one year and completed the distance by 19:30, 27th July 2012. Had 1.5hrs to spare before the London Olympics Opening Ceremony!
Most of the mileage came from training sessions but I did race 10Ks, a half marathon, a 20 miler, a 100 metre sprint and my first ever marathon.
Races:
1 - MH Survival of the Fittest 10K. 12th November 2011. Obstacle course 10K including a 10 ft wall! Battersea Power Stn.
Race # 1494. Completed - 1hr 9mins, 2 open wounds but no broken bones.
2 - Brighton 1/2 marathon. 19th February 2012. South coast
Race # 4718. Completed - 1:57:54 (adjusted from original of 2:00:48 for the 13.43 miles everyone ran on the day!)

6 - 1 mile run with Paula Radcliffe and Shelly Woods, Bloomsbury, London. They took it easy on us - 1 mile in 9:40. What an amazing morning :)

8 - Bupa 10K, 25th May 2012, central London.

Race # 12. Completed - 56:57. A very hilly course
I fundraise for CRUK as I believe prevention and a cure must be the best way forward in the battle against cancer. More people will survive cancer due to their great work. My mum is one such survivor and I run in celebration of her.
