Thank you so much for all your support for the marathon day and fundraising.

I did it, all 26.2 miles.  And I loved it!  The atmosphere was just amazing.  It's a very special day and one I'll never forget.  Will I ever do it again?  Yes, but not until both our children are at school.

I achieved the marathon in 3hrs 51 minutes and was the 1262 woman to finish out of a total field of 36,000 runners of which 10,697 were women.

It's an extremely busy race to run in, but every moment the emotions run high and to know I was helping to raise such an amount of money for British Heart Foundation made all of the efforts in training worth it.

Thank you to you all!!!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

At last! I have managed to get a place in the London Marathon after about 6 years of trying!  The training has begun in earnest and on 13th April 2008 I will be running the London Marathon.  In 2007, when I didn't get a place, I raised money for another worderful charity called Heartline by running the Dover 1/2 Marathon and with your help managed to raise nearly £1200.

This year I would like to raise as much money as possible for the British Heart Foundation - at least £2,000.  As many of you are aware one of my best friends has had children born with heart defects.  She has a 5 year old with tetralogy of fallot and had another baby in 2006 who died at 7 weeks of tetralogy of fallot with absent pulmonary valve syndrome.  I want to raise as much as possible for research, care of these problems and supporting the families.  Additionally, another close friend's father died in his early 50s at the new year as a result of a heart problem.

Please, if you could contribute something to help it will go a long way and it’ll be wonderful to raise a good amount of money for such a marvellous charity.

Thank you in advance
