Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Most of you will know that my mum got diagnosed with dementia shortly after her 70th birthday. She was as she would say, a tough wee bird and they don't make wummin like me anymore, how true was she.
As the years went on, her memory and personality slowly dripped away. There were times when Maggie shone through and we lived for those times. She would have us literally wetting ourselves with her antics, she had a sharp wit and said what she thought at the time as she lived in the here and now.
Fast forward to 2020, yeah the year we all want to forget happened. Covid 19. It tore us apart as a family not being able to visit mum. We could only do as we were being advised. Unfortunately mum got covid. We fought to be with her. We were lucky to be with her during her last week. That I will forever be greatful for. She knew her lassies were by her side.
This is us giving a little bit back to this awesome charity, in mums memory. I can imagine what she would say about this. But I can't publish that lol.
So we would appreciate you to find it in your hearts and pockets to help support us in this challenge.
P.s I hate heights!
