London Marathon 2023

London Marathon 2023 · 23 April 2023 ·
As a Lot of people seeing this will know it’s been a tough few months as in July 2022 I lost my lovely dad to terminal cancer. He fought for nearly two years after his diagnosis. His wishes were to die peacefully at home ( the place he was actually born 81 years earlier) & thanks to the amazing team at Rennie Grove his wishes were granted.
The care the nurses & carers gave to dad was amazing & the mental support & reassurance they gave me & the family was invaluable.
I’m running the London marathon in Dad’s memory. It’s my first marathon & to say I’m a little anxious is an understatement. However knowing the support I’ll get from my wonderful friends & family, Dad watching over me for 26.2 miles & knowing that Rennie Grove will benefit from my efforts I am determined to drag myself around.
Any donations would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks everyone for your support.
