Story

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a catastrophic effect on charities, with the cancellation of thousands of events and the loss of billions in income. At a time when vulnerable members of society need them most, charities have had to cut services, furlough staff and some have even shut down. Captain Tom stepped up to help, taking on his famous walk to support the NHS Covid-19 appeal and inspiring millions to donate to the cause. I will be celebrating the extraordinary spirit of Captain Tom And his foundation challenge to do something that is 100. So I’m going to paint 100 portraits and ask people to donate £10 to have their portrait in my ‘Tom Moore Foundation 100 portraits book’. I will send a photo of each sponsor portrait so it be a keepsake. If you would like to follow my progression with the 100 portraits, you can follow on Facebook, The Bobbing Artist
