2 long years later since the first cancelled attempt, I am (finally) running the London Marathon 2022 on October 2nd for The National Autistic Society. Anyone who’s been around me for more than 5 minutes will have heard me talk about my nephew Jayden, the love of my life! Jayden is almost 6, is Autistic and until about 5 years old was almost completely non verbal. 

The National Autistic Society, and other big and small charities, are vital is providing the support and services for the 1 in 100 people are on the autism spectrum and working to navigate a society that’s not built for their needs! Services like these are the reason after all these years we get to hear Jayden say our names (well Shabba, but I’ll take it :) start big school,, make friends, sing along to his favourite shows and learn to manage his way through an overwhelming world! 

Any pennies that anyone can spare would make such a difference and for those of you who sponsored back in 2020, you’re off the hook and that money (£600) kindly went to Tommys!
