Hi Everyone,

For the next year I will be finding a variety of ways to raise money for the mental health charity SANE, with the grand finale for the year of fundraising being me having my head shaved on my 50th birthday.  It's a bit scary, I'm not, by any stretch of the imagination, an extrovert. I'm the girl who likes to blend in, not be seen, not stand out in a crowd, so putting myself out there to fundraise will be a challenge in itself, let alone walking around with a shaved head.  I am sure I will be a stronger, more confident person by the end of this challenge.

Over the next 12 months I will be growing my hair as long as I can as I will be donating my locks to The Little Princess Trust, who provide real hair wigs for children and young adults with hair loss.

Whilst enjoying my last 365 days of having a full head of hair, I will be finding ways to raise funds and awareness for SANE, and to generally try to spread some Randoms Acts of Kindness in my little corner of the world.

I'll be updating this page as I go along with what I have been doing to raise funds.
