Story

As many of you already know on November 5th 2021, we sadly lost our beautiful Lyndsey to this dreadful disease. After a diagnosis of only a mere 7 weeks  she sadly passed away. Those of you that knew Lyns would know that she loved to walk (and talk 🤪) so a group of us, team “Lyndsey’s lionesses” are walking up Mount Snowdon, at night, to watch the sunrise in her memory.

Lyns was the most beautiful, kind and caring person anyone had the privilege to meet. She was a wife to Den, mum to Grace and Dylan, step mum to Lauren, daughter, nanny, sister, aunty and a friend to so many. Her loss has hit so many of us. Lyns motto was about making memories and she would always be snapping her camera to capture these.

We wanted, as a team, to do something in her memory and to also raise awareness as a member of our team sadly lost her dad and my cousins husband sadly lost his mum to this awful silent killer. We don't like to talk about poo, won't take a test when offered and may ignore symptoms but if you have any symptoms, such as a change in bowel habit, blood in your stools or even just not feeling yourself then do something about it. It may just save your life.

I know times are tough but if you can spare any pennies then please give them to this great cause. I will raise a glass to you at the top Lyns & I love & miss you lots.

Thanks
