Story

I have personally suffered from Trigeminal Neuralgia, a condition which is considered to be 'the worst pain known to man'. Like many sufferers I have vivid memories of my first attack in May 2003. Sadly for most sufferers the condition is progressive and will worsen over time. Following a form of cranial surgery in April 2009, I have been painfree. I am one of the few, many people continue to suffer from this debilitating condition even after surgery. Three years ago, I could not have walked in a breeze, this would have triggered a painful attack. In a few months I plan to run 26.2 miles, something previously I could never have dreamed of achieving. I am running this marathon for those who continue to fight the pain of Trigeminal Neuralgia, running 26.2 miles won't be easy but it is nothing compared to living a life with Trigeminal Neuralgia.
