We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

When I was 17 I started a "Do Before I Die" List and the 1st thing to go on that list was the London Marathon. With a little help from my friends I have managed to secure a place with Cancer Research UK.

Like me I am sure many of your lives have been touched by cancer. I lost my Dad to Cancer when I was just a teenager and have watched family and friends battle with this disease. Cancer Research is dedicated to beating cancer through research and relies on fundraising to help them do this.

For me the Marathon means that I get to tick the 1st thing on my "List". It will be my Mums 60th birthday on the day and she will be there with family and friends supporting me. I will finally be able, in the run up to the marathon be able to shift that 8 year baby weight!!.

This will be a massive self achievement for me and am looking forward to the challenges ahead. I am running with 2 other girls who, like me have thier own reasons for doing this and we all are very determined. I promise you that I will run every step of the way.

Please please please sponsor me. For those that doubt i can achieve it then SPONSER ME MORE!!!!!!!

It is now February and I have completed this weekend 15.1 miles in 2hrs 35 mins which was a great feeling. I am looking forward to the half marathon in March. Please help me smash my target of £2000.

Thank you xx
