As many of you know in recent years my husband and I have lost two amazing parents, and our children two doting grandparents.

Our local hospice, Katharine House looked after them both, and us, with such care and compassion. To have this incredible charity on our doorstep was such a comfort during the worst time of our lives.

Like hundreds of other charities, due to the pandemic Katharine House has struggled to raise much needed funds due to fundraising events being cancelled. 

No one ever wants or plans to use a service like this, and it's so important to ensure it is there for the next family in need.
