A short while ago my beautiful brother Neil suffered a cardiac arrest. He was taken to the Bristol Royal Infirmary Cardiac ward, where he spent two weeks in an Intensive Care Unit.

The care he received and the kindness and respect that was shown to Neil and to us, his family was exceptional.

Sadly the damage Neil sustained to his brain as a result of the cardiac arrest was too great, and on the 23rd of July we were told that there was no chance that he would wake up. He passed away peacefully two days later.
