Story
Thank you for taking time to look through my page.
Covid has made 2020 is a very tough year. Hard enough with lock down, but to find out you have cancer this year must be very tough.
Harrogate hospital has featured in my life, all my life. My Mum worked there on the wards as a nurse for many many years. I had both my babies there.
Harrogate Hospital has seen featured in our lives from births to deaths.
But in 2012, it was were we spent many days, weeks and months, as my Dad had developed cancer, it was a very tough time for him and us, his family. Harrogate Hospital was were he recieved his treatment, the Macmillion Nurses were amazing.
The unit has now been updated and stands in its place is the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre. I know this unit has supported many people with their cancer journey and made huge differences in their lives.
I wanted to thank them and support the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre.
Which is why Grace and I are backpacking The Great Glen and then to finish (me) off with a hopefully a 6 hour hike up Ben Nevis!
From the 7th August. Watch for updates!
Any support you can give us and them would be amazing and thank you xxx
