Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 13th June 2013 I lost a very close friend, David Wood "Woody", who was very much a part of my family since our childhood. On 14th June 2014, in honour of his memory and for all the Freeman Hospital did for him during his all too short life. I along, with around 30 others who knew and loved David will be casting caution - and ourselves - to the wind and abseiling Carlisle's Civic Centre (all 135ft of it!). All money raised will be in aid of the Freeman Hospital's ACHD (Adult Congenital Heart Disease) Fund. If you would like to sponsor me for being a crazy person and to help this amazing cause to continue undertaking vital research and providing care for those affected and their families, that would be muchas appreciated!
