Fundraising for FareShare
Story
To celebrate the global release of The BTS Meal, BTS's collaboration with McDonald's, we're collaborating with ShareARMeal. Through this partnership, we aim to help fundraise for FareShare, the UK's national network of charitable food redistributors, and largest charity coalition fighting hunger and food waste.
FareShare believes that no good food should go to waste. Their goal is to redistribute surplus food to charities for meal preparation, aiding those most in need. To date, they have redistributed over 24,000 tonnes of surplus food and have provided 57.3 million meals to vulnerable people.
In 2018, we partnered with One In An ARMY to raise almost £2000 for FareShare, to celebrate BTS's first concert in the UK. Through this new partnership with ShareARMeal, we aim to use ARMY's giving spirit to spread even more positivity to those that need it most.
