Story
This walk is for our beautiful Henry and all the other babies gone to soon. On the 20th October I gave birth to our little boy stillborn, he was 22 weeks and unfortunately he was to poorly for this world. He had an extremely rare heart condition that was found at his 20 week scan which led to us having the make an awful decision.
The day I gave birth to Henry both the hospital and the charities made the day as beautiful as It could be, we got to spend time with our boy, take photos, nanny sue got to have cuddles, we did foot prints, dressed him, made a birth certificate for him and spent the night with him before saying goodbye. Non of this would be possible without the help of the different charities like sands and the amazing team at Frimley park hospital (who might I add still text and check in on us) we have decided to raise money for sands as they are the charity who is still currently supporting us and so many other families!
Lots of people asked our family when we lost henry of what they could do as they didn’t want to send flowers and we said to donate to charity but until now haven’t had the energy or even been functioning enough to set it up but here we are!
Myself and my mum Sue will be walking 100km in March to raise money for Sands. Your sponsorship will support research into saving lives and ensure bereaved families get the care and support they deserve. Thank you so much.
