Story
Recently, I lost a client and a friend. A lovely person with a lovely soul. She showed me what it meant to have an inner strength. She was an inspiration from the moment I met her. She was undergoing her last round of chemo wanting to get stronger and healthier. While I am sad that our friendship was fleeting in terms of years known. I am grateful that I got play a role in her journey, and she in mine. I think she encouraged me as much as I encouraged her. Always asking how my little challenges were going. Well now in her memory I wanted to do something a little bigger, and hopefully help raise some money for charity.
A few years ago now Adam and I took part in a marathon trek along Hadrian's Wall for Charity. It was August and gale force winds. An experience I will never forget for various reasons. I have wanted to go back since as I can remember breath taking views, and a feeling of awe at the general surroundings. This is why I have chosen to take part in a virtual 90 mile Hadrian Wall challenge. I'm hoping to complete the challenge by the end of April. Adam will be along for the ride aiming for over 100 miles as he already runs regularly. We'll be remembering his cousin Matthew who passed at a very young age from cancer. While I never met him he is very much around and never forgotten.
