Story
Thank you for visiting this page, and a further thank you if you donate =]
Neil and I have signed up for " The Big Fun Run " in Hazelhead, Aberdeen on the 11th of July, to raise funds for the Starlight Children's Foundation. Any donations you give will be hugely appreciated.
Starlight work throughout the UK, providing over half a million seriously and terminally ill children with fun..laughter..a welcome distraction, in hospitals and hospices. Starlight grant these children their " once in a lifetime wishes ", from becoming a fire man for the day, to meeting their favourite celebrity - they also provide entertainment, outings, parties and distraction boxes to take children's minds off their hospital stay, their illness, their pain..But they receive no government funding, and rely on donations and fundraising.
I have sat on my ass watching charity adverts and fundraising programmes on tv, complaining about not doing enough for people who are suffering, so this is my time to be proactive and make a difference. I most likely wont be running, but will definately be there walking ( or limping ) the 5k, and Neil will still be running.
So please, donate what you can, support us by spreading the word, and thanks again =]
