Event: Great North Run 2022, on 11 September 2022
In memory of Louise Mullen
Our amazing Great North Run team are taking on the world's largest half marathon to raise vital funds to improve diagnosis and treatment, and fund research to find a cure; to empower all those with Crohn's and Colitis to live freer, fuller lives.

Story

I secured a place in the Great North Run this year through the general ballot however, I knew I wanted to also run and raise money for a charity. This year, I am going to be running and raising money for Crohns and Collitis in memory of our lovely Louise Anne Mullen, as it was a charity close to and meant a lot to her.

In true Lou style, I’m going to push myself and I am going to set myself small challenges each month, on the lead up to it, starting with running 100 miles in total across April.

April - 100 miles

May - Back to back gym work outs

June - 10,000 steps a day, everyday

July/August - At least a mile in every location visited whilst inter-railing

September - GNR

Any donations you can give, no matter how big or small, will be appreciated so so much. 💚💜💚💜
