Story
Shane & Natalie two best friends from Bolton are ‘Strictly Learning to Dance’ to raise money for Bolton Hospice!
Hi guys, we have been given a fantastic opportunity to raise money for a special charity Bolton Hospice, which cares for people with terminal or life limiting illnesses and supports local families facing the unimaginable.
We will be stepping out of our comfort zone, ‘dancing’ in the kitchen after a couple of Proseccos, and into some shiny dancing shoes and sequins, showing off our ‘moves’ on the ballroom floor!
We will be competing against 19 other couples of novice dancers where we will embark on 12 weeks of professional dance lessons (one per week) with Touch of Class Dance Studio, who are kindly offering their services free of charge to support this great cause.
We will be learning the likes of the Quick Step, Foxtrot and Argentine Tango and will compete against the other couples at a Strictly Come Dancing style Grand Finale at the Bolton Whites Hotel in the 31st March. 🤦🏻♀️💃🏼🪩
Tickets will be on sale for this and we would love as many people as possible to come to the show to support us and the other couples. Even if it is to laugh at our expense! 😂😂
Please can you also make a donation big or small to support this great charity. We have a target of £1000 (£500pp) any donations will be greatly appreciated by us and the hospice who rely on donations to be able to operate and support our local families.
This is going to be a big challenge and commitment for us but we are very excited!
Are you ready for this dancing duo? 😅
