Story

Dear friends and family,

The 8th August will be the first anniversary of our precious daughter Eadie's birthday, who tragically died during her birth last year. Of course this day will be full of tears for us both, but we wanted to do something positive to remember Eadie. So we shall be spending her birthday morning doing the Big Fun Run in Sheffield and would be most grateful if you would sponsor us and help us raise some money in her memory for SANDS - the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society.

The course is only 5km, not exactly a marathon, however, as we will be 37 weeks pregnant by then, it seems that only one of us will actually be able to run the course! We still wanted to do it together though, so have decided we will do the course as 'Lou & Andy' from 'Little Britain'! So one of us gets to sit in a wheelchair for the 5km, while the other gets to push - we'll leave you to guess who will be Lou and who will be Andy!

SANDS is a fantastic charity, supporting families affected by the death of a baby and funding research to help reduce the loss of babies' lives. Any amount you can spare would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for taking the time to visit our page,

Shane and Laura xx
