As most people reading this page will be aware I’m an incredibly proud father to Scarlett (7) and George (1). However that journey with Jenna to being incredibly lucky wasn’t straightforward and involved 3 miscarriages along the way.

What astounded me the most was how little anyone in a medical role seemed to know or understand about the reasons for miscarriages. 

Jenna and I are incredibly fortunate to have two wonderful healthy children, however the many hours spent in early pregnancy and maternity wards showed how very few people were so lucky. 

Tommy’s the charity raises money to support research into miscarriage and still birth, some of the bizarrely few remaining seemingly taboo subjects. If you can please give a few £ and enjoy the level of suffering someone so out of shape like myself will endure to complete the half marathon in the best city in the world.
