I am doing this sponsored walk with 3 other people who all have there own reasons for doing this walk.
My reason for choosing this charity is because heart issues have effected my family and friends far to many times down the years and in some cases it has claimed there life's at a very young age.
On the 4th of September 1997 my second cousin Edward Chilcott who was born with a hole in his heart sadly passed away at the age of 12 after having heart surgery. January the 20th this year would have been his 30th birthday, so I have chosen to do this sponsored walk along the full length of the Bridgwater to Taunton canal in his memory.
For those of you who had the privilege to meet this brave young lad will no doubt remember his smile. No matter what sort of day you were having a smile from Edward would always put things in perspective and brighten up even the dullest of day's!
Please help me to raise some money in his memory, Thank you advance for your help.
