Story
I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your support this year for the Merthyr Half Marathon and the Cardiff half marathon.
The reason I am running the Merthyr Half marathon is aid of The Wales Air Ambulance. It means a lot to myself as I work for the NHS and they are at Cardiff University of Wales Hospital almost everyday. I get to see the a bit of the amazing work that the Air Ambulance does and feel that if it wasn't for all there hard work 24/7 many lives would not be saved. They do an amazing job for Wales and I fell that this year we want to support this amazing charity by doing the Merthyr Half Marathon in aid of the Wales Air Ambulance.
The training so far has been very hard as we have started to training very late this year and need to cover a lot miles in a short distance but fingers crossed we will get through it and finish in a reasonable time.
When we get up on the Sunday morning of the 25th March for the Merthyr half marathon we will all be looking forward to what is going to be a head of us and just thinking of completing it as I have mentioned above that the Wales Air Ambulance is an amazing organising and we wont to look forward to helping those who need our help.
On the 7th October I will be putting myself through it again and doing the Cardiff half marathon and I am sure it is going to be just as exciting as doing the Merthyr half.
