Story

Hi all,

I am delighted to have being selected to take part in the Samsung/Bluesquare expedition to the breath-taking Alps. This is 7 x 4000 metre+ mountains completed in 7 days in the Italian Alps from 7th to 13th September 2022. This will be a challenging feat but will be well worth it when completed. My goal is to raise €2,300 and I know during these difficult times giving money to others can be tough so every little bit will help. I appreciate your help and support in raising funds for the Lily Foundation. I hope you follow me and my team throughout our journey.

The Foundation was founded in Lily's memory, having lost her battle to Mitochondrial Disease at just eight months old. The charity aims to give hope, answers and support to the many other children and families that face the challenges of this disease today.Did you know every twenty minutes a child is born who will develop Mitochondrial Disease by the age of 16! There is no cure for this disease which is for many, debilitating and life limiting. Please stand with us and fight Mitochondrial Disease and fight for hope.
