Do you recognise me from Scooby-Doo?

I am am the brainy crime-solver Velma....

WHY VELMA? I chose this costume because being bright orange will help Malcolm and the girls find me in the mass of 20,000 people who are also running the race. It has been proven very easy and comfortable to run in. I had a few test runs as Velma around the posh Gleneagles golf course and got some very strange looks. Running a big race in fancy dress is fun, but running around an elite golf course on your own dressed as Velma looks mental. But hey I'll do anything to get anyone to help great organizations like Tear-fund. So please sponsor me... Will you do it for a Scooby Snack?!

Hello to all...

Well it has been a long journey of healthy eating and exercise but I am finally a healthy weight. In a mad moment of celebrating my new figure and fitness I signed up for the Glasgow half marathon on September 7th 2008. Once I recovered from my madness the task ahead of me sunk in, so I need your help! Please sponsor me!!! The knowledge that you have invested in me finishing this race will keep me running.

I have decided to run this race for tear fund. Tearfund is a Christian relief and development agency working with a global network of local churches to help eradicate poverty. Please check out there website at www.tearfund.org.
