Story
'We prayed.
We laughed
we cried,
shared fond memories
and said our goodbyes…'
As some of you maybe aware, my sister Shalma passed away last June after a long struggle with cancer. She was cared for at the St. Joseph's Hospice during her last weeks. For those that know about this place or visited my sister know what a gem it is within our community. The work they do to provide care and support for people with terminal illnesses is simply amazing.
We all know someone with terminal cancer or something similar. How many of us are aware of the provisions out there, that make that last stage of the journey a comfortable and peaceful one? These places need our support so they can support our loved ones and those in need.
So please dig deep and donate now! We thank you for your generous donations & may God reward you in this life and the hereafter.
