With just 10 days before race day, I have decided to use my place to raise funds for Alzheimer's Society.  

Dementia can affect anyone and is caused by diseases of the brain, one of these is Alzheimer's. Dementia is terminal and there is no cure. Alzheimer's Society supports people to live well with dementia today and funds research to find a cure for tomorrow.

I hope to raise £500 for Alzheimer's Society which could help pay for 2 sessions of the Carers' Programme for 12 carers.  These sessions offer practical tips and strategies to help carers cope with the impact of dementia.
