For those of you who have known me for more than 2 or 3 years would have seen the transformation I went through in running the London Marathon in 2017. 

Now, I have decided to do it again. This time though with very different motivations and with my eyes wide open of what to expect, which in some respects makes it a bit more daunting and makes me question why I am putting myself through it again!

There are two main reasons, firstly I want to see what I can actually do from a starting base rather than in 2017 when I went from zero to marathon in four months - something I would not recommend!!

Secondly, running has done a lot for me. Both my physical and mental health have improved beyond recognition and I want to give something back. By asking for sponsorship from you, I hope that Family Action https://www.family-action.org.uk/ and the people who use their services can benefit and have their lives improved in the way that mine has been.

As well as asking for donations, I will be planning some events and hopefully holding some raffles to help raise my target and would love to see you at one of these, or even see you join me on a training run.
