Campaign by Muscular Dystrophy UK (RCN 205395 (England and Wales) - SC039445 (Scotland))
Superhero loving Will's world was changed when he was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, which inspired his family to set up I'm in for Will Family Fund.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Shadbolt Group's JustGiving page.

From June 21st - 23rd we will be taking on the Coast to Coast challenge; cycling 139 miles over three days from Whitehaven to Sunderland. There will be 10 riders from Shadbolt Group taking part in the event which includes over 11,800ft of climbing.

All donations are going towards Muscular Dystrophy UK Charity - 'I'm in it for Will' which was set up by a close friend of Shadbolt Group Director, Lee Butler.

William Calvert loves superheroes and playing with his friends, just like other children his age. However, in December 2015 William’s family were given a diagnosis of Duchenne muscular dystrophy which sets William apart from his hero loving friends.

Since William’s diagnosis, the family and their community have raised over £44,000 for the Duchenne Research Breakthrough Fund. Supporters of the family fund have taken part in skydives, zip wires and coastal walks, to family fun days, parties and formal dress balls.
