Story
The Shackleton Challenge
In 1916, Ernest Shackleton and a portion of his crew rowed 1330 km in 16 days from Antarctica to the South Georgia Islands in an amazing feat of survival. More than a century later, we are going to recreate this feat (through running on land) to help all victims of domestic violence during the ongoing lockdown.
To achieve this goal, we, the Shackleton Society, need your help. Any donation, no matter how large or small, will go a long way towards our goal. Help us reach our target of £2000 before the challenge ends on Saturday the 6th of June!
100% of donations will go to SafeLives to help put an end to domestic violence. No matter what size donation, they can all make a difference.
This challenge is stretching my physical endurance limits, so your donation is hugely appreciated - thank you.
