Story
Every year I decide to take on something I’ve never done, living with Cystic Fibrosis presents a number of challenges and this is my why behind Me wanting to defy the odds time and time again via physical challenge; to inspire others, to show possibility in the face of adversity and show what can be done when you simply never give up.
After a slight dip in health I decided to take on the biggest challenge I’ve set myself to push my mind and body and ultimately improve my health, so I am going to be taking on an ultra Ironman, self created / supported by some friends and family via car / bike and run around Lake Como, one of my favourite places in the world.
On the 15th October I will be
Swim 5km, bike 200km, run 50km consecutively as fast as I can.
The life expectancy for CF is still only 40 years old, which has come a way since I was given the age to 16 when I was born, but it’s still not enough and I am on a mission to change that by raising some money and awareness which is why I have chosen my local Cf charity as they help so many in so many ways so any support is appreciated!
