In mid 2022 my Dad was diagnosed with Mesothelioma, a form of cancer that affects people who have worked with asbestos. Because of how the cancer affects the lining of the lungs, it is often diagnosed in much later stages of the disease. 

He was in hospital when he was diagnosed, and although we were hoping that he would improve and be able to come back home, he sadly passed away in August.
